Today all the components i need to do the 8XA replication are in. Some original components are imposible to get like the SCR GEC35M. Others like the decade counters have become relative expensive since they are not used very commonly anymore. If the replication appears to be succesful the entire 9XB circuit can be replaced with a PIC microcontroller to do the same. The schematics with the original values as noted/measured at the Meyer mansion are available at the forum project pages: Stanley Meyer 9XB/8XA Replication. You have to register and login to the forum to see them because they are not public, … registration is free! To do some accurate measurements Continued…

In the past the Water Fuel for All forum had to stop. Steve at the IonizationX.com forum was kind enough to host it for a while. I now took it over from him and are hosting the content of the old Water Fuel for All forum as starting point for the new HHOGEN forum. I hope that in the future the forum will be the place to be for HHO generation discussions. You can access the forum from the link at the top of the page.

Since most electronics need stabel 5 and 12 volt power sources you could use/build a transformer for that purpose but i had some old computer ATX power supplies lying arround and by placing a switch between pin 13 and 14 (black and green) you can easily switch it on and off. Placed a 7805 with two 22nF capacitors to ground on a 12 volt ATX connection and got myself a nice stable 5V powersource.

As all metals are getting more expensive these days i thought it could be helpful for others (at least in europe that is) to point out a german company that sells enamelled copper wire at very good prices (at least compared to my previous supplier). Take a look at http://www.elosal.de, i got myself some 1mm wire for 0,22 eurocents per meter. I am still searching for a good supplier of torroid cores though ….

Digged into my old collection of PIC stuff and ordered some new parts. I use the WISP648 for programming which is a cheap and very easy to use PIC programmer. See http://www.voti.nl/wisp648/index.html for more information. I still have some PIC16F877A controllers that are very well packed with extra’s. Among them, 8K flash, 256 bytes EEPROM, 15 interrupts, 3 timers, 2 capture/compare/pwm modules, 8 10-bit AD channels and that all for about 8 euros. For the final system i think it is probably a lot of overkill and i think that every plate/tube set is going to need its own pic controller but for now it is ok.
Programming of the PIC can be done directly in assembler but as i am a Java programmer during my daytime job i prefer the higher programming languages. For the PIC there are several choices, a very popular one is PICBasic Pro (http://store.melabs.com/prod/software/PBP.html) but it is not for free. A good and lesser known alternative is GCBasic (http://gcbasic.sourceforge.net/) and it also includes a nice GUI that handles a lot of nasty PIC configuration stuff. Advantage of the WISP648 is that i connect it directly to my breadboard circuit and you can do in-circuit programming. That means that you build your circuit including all the components and you program the pic while it is running. It makes changing your circuit as easy as changing your code, upload it to the pick and the results are there immediatly. I will try to upload a short video later to show the first version with some basic functions like LCD, POT meter, Led, Rotary Switch, etc.

A few months ago i started investigating what already was known, tried or invented on the subject of HHO generation. Pretty soon i stumbled on to the Stanley Meyer Water Fuel Cell and his patents. In a nutshell, … Meyer claimed HHO generation based on pure voltage and resonance instead of the regular electrolysis proces which is based on splitting water with pure current. At first i was very sceptic but after researching it some more i run into a lot of information about him and his inventions. Sadly enough Stanley Meyer suddenly died in 1998 before he could introduce his inventions to the market. There are more people that are on a quest to unravel the secrets of the Meyer patents which you can find all here on a website from Tony Woodside . I think it is a good choice to try to replicate the Stanley Meyer Water Fuel Cell because if the splitting of water can be achieved with an other way than electrolysis it would be a great step forward!

The world needs a big change if we want it to survive like it is. Our economic driven hunger for energy is exhausting our planet. Like many others i think i should try to help and find a solution to this problem. Sadly most people are driven by no other motive than money. So to make a solution viable i think it should benefit mankind not only environmentally but also economically.
I am convinced that the solution to save our blue planet earth is in the water itself. The amount of energy that is stored in the form of hydrogen in our planets water is so immense that i can not even start calculating it. At the same time there is a rising need for fresh water while salt water is abundant. Therefor a while ago i started researching the different ways of producing and using hydrogen or Oxyhydrogen which is also known as Brown’s Gas or HHO. There is a lot of fraud and hoaxes on the Internet about this theme but i am convinced that by experimenting and applying my knowledge about physics, electronics and computer sciences i should try to help and solve even a small part of the puzzle.
I started this blog to document any progress i am able to make, … i hope you enjoy it!
